I asked ChatGPT to play for me, and then I ask it the average number of turns to win: https://chat.openai.com/share/ff3aaab7-299b-4e5c-8aae-4b11fc282828 ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ˜„

just slightly more than if it was a simple roll of dice (100/3.5=28.6)

made me think of the 3x+1 puzzle ^^ (am trying to find the twist)

i thought maybe you could go down if you went to 110, but that's not actually reachable ^^

i was wondering with 2 players that shared a score (instead of each having their own), whether the player starting had an advantage

ChatGPT says:
> In the simulations, odd numbers of turns occurred approximately 51.7% of the time, while even numbers of turns occurred about 48.3% of the time.

The numbers are pretty close to the game it draws inspiration from :)

I'll now read the explanation ๐Ÿ˜Š

wow, i love it, thanks for this entertainment, i love those a lot ๐Ÿ’—

Thanks Mati ๐Ÿ˜Š It really warms my heart how you engage with my games. Loved reading your comments on your attempts of figuring out the twist!

i'm a big fan ๐Ÿ˜„

in hindsight i feel like i should thought more along those lines ("purified game") given your past games, but you hid it well ๐Ÿ˜„
